The lumbridge caves

I did the lost tribe today (only got round to doing it because I'm trying to get all the quests done), after finihsing it, I decided if Juna would let me collect some tears, she wouldn't.

So, on my way back I noticed this:

This had caught my attention a few times, I thought it was just a random piece of decoration, but i decided to check my book on goblin symbols (which I hadn't dropped yet) and saw this:

Upon furthur exploration of the caves, I came upon a group of goblins:

This screenshot suggests that they are not part of the Dorgeshuun tribe as they refer to them as, "the Dorgeshuun". So, perhaps they are part of the Yurkolgokh, who's symbols litter the caves.

I suspect this may hint towards the lost tribe being part of a series, why are they also hiding in the caves? Do they too fear the wrath of the gods? Perhaps this story intertwines with the god wars. I must look for more clues to try and unravel this mystery.

I'll be looking through caves populated by goblins searching for more symbols. (currently searching the caves north of ardougne)

Cool, looks like this could be intresting. I'll check it out when i do the quest. good luck in finding those symbols.

I saw that as well, but i desided that it was a marker of some kind because about 10 paces away from any of them is a hole in the wall.

Maybe if you recorded where all the sybols where there would be some kind of patten.

(this is tryed and tested, there is a patten from the monkey statues)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I appreciate what you're doing and understand that it's interesting and quite exciting ... but I kind of find aspects of this redundant. By all means, enjoy yourself, but I doubt you'll have much luck finding any clues. Jagex's future updates regarding quests and quest series are not necessarily set in stone, so you could easily be mislead, or just purely speculating to something that is subject to change.
