August 12, 200916 yr I'm becoming f2p on my main for awhile now and if you notice my stats, rc is the lowest. I can't burn maples forever so i'm thinking about doing gop for a change and i'm looking for input on why it's good/bad. The more informative the post is, the better. Disregard females. August 12, 200916 yr You get decent runecrafting experience. Its great money for the rune esscene (thought I do find it more worthwhile to get pure :/) It's pretty fun. By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
August 12, 200916 yr It's good for the water talismans. For free players, the best money-making method from playing The Great Orb Project is to buy water talismans, which sell for 3,580 coins each. As you can earn a maximum of 750 tokens each game, these tokens can be used to buy 15 water talismans, for a total of 53,700 coins for every game played. Since each game lasts 12 minutes, free players can potentially earn up to 268,500 coins per hour.

August 12, 200916 yr Pros: 1.) It's a game where your skill level in runecrafting doesn't really matter (except for building barriers/playing as defence) and is more dependent on how fast your reflexes are with a mouse. 2.) Learn to become really good in one of the only games where mouse reflex skills are taken more into consideration than skill levels. 3.) It's good munny if you know what you're doing. : 4.) Make new friends. 5.) Given time, it's addictive. Cons: 1.) Running into organized teams, leading to the grim scenario of 5vs1. 2.) Being lumped in with team-mates that don't know how to play, forcing you to do all the work. 3.) Make new enemies. :ohnoes: 4.) Quitters! 5.) Sabotagers! 6.) 5050 clan chat spammers! 7.) Arrogant and loudmouthed "pros" looking down their puny noses at the other players instead of offering to teach them. 8.) Overcrowding during peak hours. For me, the minigame was worth the time I spent playing it. I'm too bored with the normal leveling up of skills in the main game, too much of a blatant grind for me. Prepare to Die! Path of Exile RPG "Think where man's glory most begins and ends, and say my glory was I had such friends." Yeats
