August 13, 200916 yr I've got about Chins left to get me within 1mil exp of 99 Ranged. I intend on getting the last mil exp on Spiritual Mages simply because they are not as crowded as Aviansies and they can potentially get me alot more money. I calculated that i need about 6k Zammy Mages to get 99 Ranged which should get me about 40 D Boots with a decent Drop rate of 1/150. Anyway my question is based on my Gear. I have 19k Broad Arrows which i intend on using. I wont change my mind on this as i want to use them. Will take me a while longer but this way i dont waste money. Anyway im stuck on what i should use. I though about 2 Possibilities: Monk Robes + Fury + Robin + Ranger Boots + Accumulator + Barrows Gloves and Archer Ring or i could Switch the Monk robes for Zammy Dhide. Since i have to use the Prayer method i thought the Monk robes will be my better option to save some money on P Pots. But option 1 will mean that i wont have any Zammy item. I could Ofcourse use Zammy Chaos and Monk top? August 13, 200916 yr 1/150 is lower than the usual D boots droprate methinks, 1/100 would be better or 1/120 if you're less optimistic ;) Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him.
August 13, 200916 yr Sell the broad arrows... get broad bolts and use a rune c-bow + Zammy book. The kills will come faster that way as well.. so why not. MSB's are outdated. If not then you could change the fury for a Zam stole or the Gloves for Zam Vamps or even the monk bottom for Zammy D'hide legs.. Just other suggestions as opposed to the Zammy robes. OR even better yet you can continue on with slayer only using range... I have gotten down to 750k from 99 range (starting at 1.2,) and I have only been ranging for 3-4 days. (since monday) Apparently, my signature was to big.
August 13, 200916 yr Don't use the arrows. They are slower... Junk trade with them, lend something out, drop them, sell them. Do whatever with them because they are not worth it.
August 13, 200916 yr Author Broad Arrows can not be sold nor traded. Only way to get rid of them is by using or selling. Since i cant just drop them i would rather use them as they cost me 1mil.
