Firefox being a [Bleep]

Featured Replies

Firefox is being naughty :(

A lot of the time, if I'm browsing google images, or Planetrenders, or some other site with lots of pictures, often around half of the pictures will either not load, or take about 5 minutes, even if they are the same sort of size as the others. Also, if I view the same page several times, it is random images that don't load as well.

Also, firefox will refuse to load some random pages, leaving a blank screen, saying it is loading and staying like that, sometimes for hours. They will occasionally load if I agggressively refresh (i.e clicking refresh about 20 times in a few seconds).

Anyone able to help?

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

Try another browser. May be an internet problem. If not, just install Firefox again, may fix some files.

What kind of advice is that?

Just delete the cache, it should repair it as it have to reload everything from the internet, not from the computer.

Happened to me as well. I just stopped using Firefox.

In my experience Opera isn't faster. I play flash Flash revolution, and constantly have to switch to Firefox to play it without lag. I don't have add-ons on either Opera or Firefox. But I find Opera easier to use and just generally having more useful features.
