Hobgoblin11
As for my playing ability, got 93 on my grade 10 playing test. So I'm not bad, but there are better. Highest note is about a third C (had to hit it in a song last year  ) and I regularly have to hit high G's, sometimes high A's in songs. How many grades are there!? I dunno about you, but there are only 8 of the ones I do. Which C do you mean, C which is 2 ledger lines above the stave, or super C, which is above the fifth ledger line  Thie highest note I have had to hit is a super F, above the 3rd ledger line. Ill scan the music tonight 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength

In England, there are just eight. I've taken and got a merit on Grade eight Piano (127 out of 150) and I'm now working towards a type of diploma which would let me get letters after my name :P (Dip ABRSM). I've also taken Grade five Flute and got 119 out of 150. I'm now working towards Grade six. I took Grade five Violin, can't remember the mark; but gave that up because three instruments was taking up too much of my time. I'll try to get some screenshots another time. Lionheart_0
What he means by grades is the equivalent to your years. He means year 10 in school. We dont get grades for our insturments here (grd 1-8 or whatever) its just we play diffrent parts, and work at playing period. People here start playing in grd 7 till 8. In grd 9 they have a choice to do music or not, and in 10, they can drop it if they did take grd 9 music. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! xxept0
I completed grade 6 piano this year, practical AND theory, with certs to boot, and i think I'm gonna quit.... But it was fun while it lasted! My friend has completed 8th grade, and starting diploma before she got shipped to boarding school, and another is taking 8th grade practical(she already completed theory) next year. Both are literal music geniuses!! BTW, i can't compose for nuts..... It was by magic i got a 16 on my composing exam this year!! Oh, and i HATE the baroque period.... (almost cost me my 5th grade practical!! :x And made me retake my 6th grade theory too, although it could have been question 8 and 7...... ). Stupid lousy.... What's his name again???? Hmm..... was it beethoven or mozart...... :P
