3PointMan
I'll be doing armoured zombies for a little training, but I want to know whats better xp/hr. - I WILL be using super strs and super def. - Is it better xp per hour to tank the zombies away from the ladder, with bunyips and food? Or is it better to use pure sets with void/salve and use prot from melee and piety near the ladder? I'm just looking for better xp per hour. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt206/samtheninja/Tags/FEARLESStag.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/song4thedeaf/stuff.png what i'm doing now: https://linktr.ee/student1
doogsidoof
if you can find an open world (0 or 1 person ) you will definately get better xp by the ladder. And so you know, i go there with void and bunyips and use about 3 or 4 monks per bunyip at 88 def just tanking by the stairs. good luck training there Owner of a Quest cape since 9/11/08It's not about the other people, its about shooting cute furry things that explode. Lord Diddy
Void doesn't stack with salve ammy. yes it does, before i got void i didnt hit over 32 while i was at AZs with salve ammy (e). After i got my void ive been hitting up to 37s. (both with 87 str btw) why would it stack when slayer helm and salve ammy don't? Oh god not this again... just read this thread so we save time. Long story short void's percent boost raises damage while salve raises strength, thus allowing them to stack. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=798769 On topic : Its really what you prefer, void definitely is better exp/hr then tanking. But personally I prefer wearing max strength and taking next to no damage then using void and having to pay attention more often. If you can time it right then you can recharge prayer in the time 1 combat round takes, so praying more/less doesn't hinder your exp rate significantly. Georgelemmons
Tank by the stairs with piety; using melee protection will really cut down on your experience because of the added time recharging your prayer. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <

Agreed. I would tank it with void, food, bunyip and enchnated excalibur. THen you can stay around an hour or so, before banking all your herbs, and then tele back. If you brink a games necklace banking only takes less than 2 mins.
Georgelemmons
Tanking =/= Void. Verac's would be best. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <
JoeDaStudd
Personally I like void+peity+salve+dbaxe/super attacks as it adds a massive bonus to my stats (10%+20%+23%/20%+super set). If you have the cash bandos top/bottoms would be the best as with maxed strength bonus void only wins on attack bonus, but given the prayer bonus' of bandos/neitz you'll be using the altar less. [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
Maulmachine
The best xp is using void+salve(e) and using both super str and super attack, along with constant piety. They do stack and you do get massive amounts of xp per hour.
