Granite in the Enahkra mine in the desert is a great place, but there is also a 3 iron rock spot just south of piscatoris. Which never seems busy.

If you are going to use the mining spot mentioned, use a kyatt and duel rings for fast banking.

Also, if you're a member, i highly reccomend doing the Stealing Creation mini-game.

You will gain ex twice as fast.

Invauluable when it comes to mining, i think anyways #-o

I myself prefer stars with SC Pickaxes. Also nice if you can snag some brawlers from PvP for massive experience. I did stars from 80-90, receiving 50k+ xp/hr mining them on PvP worlds and getting the tags 90% of the time. I didn't bother with powermining because I really don't care for massive clicking. You might like it though. ::'

Unless you absolutely can't stand mining, don't use sc picks. The halve your xp. I would recommend mining iron until 70 at either piscatoris or yannille, then switching to granite. See my guide if you want to learn to mine granite the correct way.

I might just be a "mining freak" but it is my opinion that "powermining" is a gigantic waste of ores.

What I did was buy a whole bunch of mithril ore (or perhaps you'd like to mine these), bring them into mining guild along with nats and a lava battle staff to mine and superheat. Sure, coal may take a bit longer than powermining iron or granite, but the advantage of superheating in the mine as you mine is that you don't have to bank as much than regular mining, and it helps your magic and smithing levels up a bit too.

You can always use the bars for smithing (mith platebodies are good for alcing), or if you like wasting, for money.

I did this for a long time and it was good fun.
