Another whiner -.-

Mod MMG has already stated that they will update the F2P game more.

But what you're saying is that they shall update as much as members do? Nope, not gonna happen.

Members actually pay for their updates, that is why they deserved more. And I'm happy it's like that.

100% F2P, btw.

Oh and lrn2spcheckontehinternetz.

i know the game may seem exciting but it gets boring after you beat the main parts so i am ranting cause i am really of mad and they need more quest that are newer i mean mems have all of it i mean c'mon?!?nobody else cares about this they say become a member but i can't make enough money it life not that i want it cheaper i just want f2p to get exciting (playing for 3.8 years)
Now the reason I read rants is to point out where people like you fail making non-sense rants like this. I could start a rant about mentally challenged people ranting in ignorance, but the thread already exists.

You fail in the following:

1. Your grammar and syntax is horrible.

2. Your critisism is not properly supported by any arguments whatsoever.

3. For not appreciating Jagex as a F2p player. You get to play many years without paying anything, without supporting the game. They're even making a new skill for F2p! Hell, you should be grateful, if anything.

4. Duhh, of course P2p players get most of the good and new content. Hello? We pay for a reason and deserve those things. We support the game. You don't, so you don't even have the right to be "i am really of mad" (Wow, great grammar!).

5. Having a lame-[wagon] excuse for not becoming P2p. Those whatever it costs in the Land of Ignorance shouldn't be too hard to earn in a month. :wall:

6. Your hiscore shows me you're a low level F2p player. You don't even have every F2p skill in the hiscore, showing that you can't possibly have explored everything in F2p. Again, no right to speak like you do if you haven't even mastered F2p. Hell, my newbie has more woodcutting experience than you have in total.

7. You're rude.

8. You're being irrational.

9. You're being unfair.

10. You're probably just another spoiled kid thinking they have the right to comment on Jagex being a company that actually needs money to stay alive.

Basically this is want you're saying:

"I'm pissed at Jagex because they don't completely give me what I want because I'm bored! That they'll go bankrupt and thus causing the game to die is completely not important because I want to have member things without paying!"

Now think about that, is that mature and rational?

Of course you could never use the level of grammar and syntax I just put there, so even I am being too kind, aren't I? However, I refuse to sink to your level.

I'm getting mad because as a F2Per, I am being represented by the likes of you and other people complaining that F2P deserves more. One thing I might suggest to Jagex is that F2P needs an English class. What a fun quest that would be! And the final test will be, capitalize, punctuate, and use correct words to convey the meaning of a rant that is easily summed up by the words provided after you complete the test.

Lmao at this

Honestly, it could be the truth that they can't get the money. Some families, even near me, barely make enough to live off. My family has 4 people working in the house and still barely cover the essentials + internet/cable. That's 2 cars, one fully paid for, groceries, electricity, rent, phones (1 land line + 4 cells), water, gas... the list goes on. I could just barely afford members without losing money every month.

You must all have crappy jobs if 4 jobs isn't enough to support one family.. In my country people with little money don't get cars. Cars here are much more expensive than in your country. Besides.. There's bikes for a reason. What do you need cellphones for if you can hardly afford them? I don't have one... :-#

Ah yes, the capitalist system sucks.. You don't have decent social resources in your country, or continent for that matter. Poor poor people. :?

Still, assuming that every kid can get a job that earns more than 0,01 an hour I think it´s quite possible. -.-

Don't start saying I'm rich, because I'm not. I work for my membership, so can you.

3 of us can't ride bikes, the other can't ride one for long. So our 2 vehicles are necessary to get around. And the cell phones are necessary for us, since we have only two vehicles, and often get handed extra work or sometimes sent home early (called in early can happen, too). I gave work my cell number so they can call me even when I'm not home. 3 of us are around $10 an hour, but 2 of us don't get anywhere near 40 hours most weeks. Our monthly income is probably only around $3000 total in a good month. Expenses run at least $2800.

Ice cream just doesn't sell very well during recessions, being somewhat of a luxury item.

As for "every kid" getting a job, around me, they would have to cut lawns or shovel snow or rake leaves. And most people have people to do that already, whether it be their own children or a neighbor or some professionals (if they have the money).

Can't ride bikes? That's.. I don't have words for that, actually. :?

I'd suggest public transport, but in the whole of your continent, public transport is badly managed, crappy and worse than insufficient..

That said, there's no decent minimum wage?

$9.50, $10.25 next year. And yeah, the public transport can't get me home from work without a lengthy walk (at least an hour, by which time I would have missed the last bus, anyway, so another 2+ hours walking) on my normal shift (it stops going out that far at 5pm, I finish at 11pm). As for the bikes thing... 3 blown out knees, 2 bad hips, a bad back... The list goes on and on.

Wow canada fails at providing jobs

It's what we get for voting the Conservatives in.

But still, I wouldn't say F2P needs much more than an update to the combat triangle to make mage a viable option in higher level pvp.

Look at this way.

It's a sample, which in turn encourages you to get the whole thing. They [Jagex] won't make any money if they put enough exciting updates into F2P that will make players not want to even both about joining P2P.

I still agree that the combat triangle could do with a tiny update though.

  • 3 weeks later...

However, if you DO update F2P, you COULD keep the players in the game longer increasing the chances of releasing that one update they are willing to pay for. The key is balance, of course. That is why the old system of approximately 1 F2P update every 6 months worked well. We will soon see if it works just as well a little more frequently.

Sometimes it truly is. Whether the difficulties lie within getting the extra $6 or not. It could be parents who refuse to pay/allow you to pay or it could be getting the money to give to Jagex. There are too many reasons people can't pay to ever know each person's.

In addition, even though F2P is updated at a regular pace, P2P will still have everything there is to offer.

So saying that "updating F2P will ruin us P2P" is pointless, because people will still get P2P as it is the complete version.

Too many, way too many P2Pers use "You don't pay!" as an excuse of why F2P does not get updates. This happens especially in RSOF.

In some cases, I can somewhat agree with the whole "You don't pay!" mentality. If we ask for something that is completely unnecessary and that would require a lot more than a small update. But some things are actually needed by F2P. Like back before the GE, F2P badly needed bank space. We got some, plus the ability to use sets from the GE making F2P banks managable. We still need something done to help mage at higher levels, however.
