Iamdan
So I found out today I have an ants nest in my laptop. I don't eat over it and my room is pretty clean so I have no idea why they would be in there. Tried opening it up, but the nest seems to be deeper than just inside the case. I turned it upside down and shook it a bit when it was open and like 100 ants fell out  I have it sitting on a table with a pool of that sticky ant rid stuff next to it, hoping to coax them out. Any other suggestions?
OldJoe
Well i don't have any special advice, i guess if you know your stuff you could open it up and dig around. But wouldn't suggest otherwise. Until someone comes with a better advice, i'd suggest you to put a bowl/plastic bucket or something over it so ants doesn't start wandering around in your room. Reminds me of Denismage ant under screen topic lol, tho this is slightly worse. i_love_burritos
How the [bleep] ?! did that happen ? Anyway, I don't think you'd want to kill the ants while they're inside the laptop, otherwise you'd end up with a screwy laptop. Just try waiting it out ? I imagine there is no food in there so, they should come out ? I think ? Is your laptop working otherwise ?
Laura
Ant trap (those which the ants can't escape from) and lure them out within a contained area. Take out the battery and don't put it back in until they are all gone. What kind of laptop do you have? Most plastic laptops have two plastic pieces atop the keyboard that are able to be separated. It is extremely likely that you're going to have to take off the farthest plastic piece (nearest the screen) and fish them out. Don't use regular ant poison, as they ingest it/bring it back to their nest to die.
Makoto_the_Phoenix
I talked to you ingame about this, but I'll reiterate it here. You're probably best served taking this to a specialty shop, or if you don't want to, you could take Laura's advice and lure them out with ant poison. I believe that I mentioned something about canned air, and in hindsight that's probably not the best idea.
