Fighting familiars

Featured Replies

I want to use a fighting familiar for slayer but titans aren't that good and I can't think of another one. Does anyone know of a good fighting familiar that I could use at level 79? Or are there any good ones at level 83?

6th: Spirit dagannoth (83, 148 Combat)

Max: 14, with special affect.

Hp: 528

Xp: Controlled

Time: 57

Size: Medium

Notes:"Ferocious - chance of attacking again without delay." This means that it can attack twice in a row, just like the Granite maul special attack. Yes, it is better than the Lava titan.

7th: Moss, Fire, Ice titans (79, 139 Combat)

Max: 15

Hp: 476

Xp: Stregnth Moss, Magic Fire, Attack Ice

Time: 58 Moss, 62 Fire, 64 Ice

Size: Large

Notes: The 3 starter pokemons! Just kidding, lol. Anyways, each have their uses, with Fire being the best, then Moss, then Ice. Ice is pretty much useless, as Strength xp is considered to be worth more than attack or defence. (Fact, due to the whip). Fire is magic based, and that is a very good thing as most monsters are weak to mage. (Not all, but a good amount) Magic xp is worth more than melee. Their special cures 8 hp and 13 Defence. (Maxed)

Hydra is pretty good, or so I've been told.

[hide=Drops]

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8
    Seercull
    Dragon Med
Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

I bought 1k dagannoths some time ago. They aren't that bad as they speed tasks by quite a bit.

Titans aren't that good? poppycock. They're plenty good. Use a fire titan for magic, a moss titan for melee (upgrade later to a spirit dagannoth or lava titan), or a hydra for ranged, depending on the monster you're fighting. Most of the time a fire titan will be best.

I found out titans die after like 40 spiritual mages.

Hydra is going to beat fire titan at mages anyway, since they're weak to ranged. But your problem is easily solved by bringing an extra pouch, no?
