Worth using diamond(e)?

Featured Replies

Right I haven't killed iron dragons in an age and I've just got a task of 79.

I'm planning to range them as I need to get my ranged lvl up, it;s 83 right now.

I'm wearing full armadyls, ranger boots etc, so a high range bonus.

I'm just not sure whether to use broad bolts, emmy(e) or diamond(e). I know diamond is by far the most pricey but I imagine the special is useful.

Any advice?

I'd use broad, and I think they might be protected from poison so emerald e wouldnt work if they are.

Diamond e really screw up the possible profits.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Nah they can get poisoned. But i would also suggest using Broad Bolts. Don't forget to bring range potions as well to help out with the killing.

Pokemon got me. :?

I dont need a siggy no moar.

But that's against steel :?

Anyways, diamond (e) isn't worth it, iron dragons are pretty easy to range compared to steel anyways.

aye seems broads are more then doing the shop, espeically with range pots.

What about steels? Diamond(e) worth it then?

Just to agree with what everyone else has said, use broad + ranging pots. The task will take 2 hours at the longest. Hopefully you get some drops to keep things interesting.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

I don't find killing steels to be worth it at all. You can try using Diamond(e), but you will probably lose out more as they are harder to kill. I have them blocked on my task list.
