squidsquash Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Ive been using a RoW since I got my membership about 2 months ago and fighting tasks I have gotten, never getting a drop worth more than 100k. walka92 Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 all luck, really. like at godwars aswell, you can go for thousands of kills no hilt...then get 2 in a row (hehe...that was fun.), or you can get them almost like clockwork every few hundred kills, or get short bursts of them then nothing for ages. i have experience all of those at different time, slayer included. just because YOU didnt get a drop, doesnt mean the rates are nerfed I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I gone about 3-4 tasks since my last whip. Also i never got a mage task until i hit 90 slayer so meh. And when slaying, i find the money mostly comes from the side drops, not those fancy big drops (Whip, Boots, Bow, etc.). Also doing things on the side help with making money. But of course getting 15 whips since 85 slayer is a nice thing and all, compared to others. TheKoolKandy Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Out of every time I have gone to GWD 20+ only ever had 1 drop which was a bandos hilt I didn't get. Just spent a few days at corp no one got as much as an elixir, I did get a spirit shield but there only 110k. Judobreaker Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 It's probably just bad luck. The fact that there's a chance of it dropping can also mean you will never ever get it. It's an extremely slim chance, but it is possible.
