I disagree, I have tried both and always do better with a whip. (for both of course) Same for irons, but idk why you would do that if you can just zspear I think you've forgotten about that terrible breath that can hit 40's ;) Anti-Dragon shield or DFS is a MUST, even with anti-fire pot.
