September 9, 200916 yr I don't believe it is going strong since the thing doesn't even have games come out for it, nor does the majority of gamers own one. I believe it died because it was released on the brink of that generation and the sleek and sexy PS2 came out to tear it apart. Not that the Dreamcast was bad. The controllers were pretty damn weird, but other then that...It had a chance, and if it had been released just a couple years earlier, it might have gone somewhere.
