I just need to make sure this is a bug:

 

 

 

I talked to Blaze, he told me to light the becon. I used a normal log with the becon(I do have 20 of the same type) and it says that i shouldn't mess with the becons because there is a high alert from the wilderness.

 

 

 

I've tried lighting diff becons, nothing. I've logged back in and out, nothing. I've gone through all of Blaze's dialog, nothing.

 

 

 

I really need to get this quest done. Because I'm going for 70 fm, and i need that ring.

You haven't started defender of varrock have you? Once you start defender of varrock you can't finish all fired up until you've finished defender of varrock.

If you're in the middle of Defender of Varrock it messes things up for All Fired Up. You'll have to finish DoV first.

its just the way the quests are although im not sure why they did it like that

Doubt it. It's been like that since the quest came out last year.

Well to be honest it makes perfect sense and shows that things are linked.

 

 

 

If it was real life you wouldn't able to do it so I don't see the issue in not being able to do it in game.

 

 

 

DoV is easy anyway so it really isn't that big a deal to finish it up.

You put the Beacon Network on high alert during Defender of Varrock. They don't just forget about it because you've gone off to do something else!

 

 

 

and again, DoV isn't that hard to finish, you can do it in an hour easily.

This does make perfect sense. They're not going to let you play around with the beacons when you know that there is a threat in the Wild that could be harmful. You have to take not from you playing the character but as the character in the game. You have to do a little role-playing.
