Since I am bored 80% of the time while here in college (massive irony), I'll try to learn Terragen 2 so this thread may be updated every now and then.

I never did learn Terragen 2. I really should though. Does it have any similarities to the first?

 

 

 

 

 

I like the clouds in the current landscape. :)

That's quite good actually, the only thing I would change is the colour of the sky, and perhaps increase the flare of the sun.

Mountains above clouds, right?

It has a lot of the features from Terragen but what I can't figure out is the in depth stuff it has. Like it has the basic controls but it goes even deeper. ._.

Just because it is from the makers of Terragen, doesn't mean it has all the many similarities. I have it, so I would say I could judge accordingly.

 

 

 

The one real lame thing about it was I couldn't find many really good intro tuts. Would you be able to link me soa?

The lighting, terrain, atmosphere, water, clouds are very similar.

I think you inspired me to go grab this and see what I can do with my old school experience. :thumbup:

Works great through WINE. :thumbup: I can't really be bothered to do anything with it though.
