How long do the Papaya's in a fruit tree take to respawn? And will it be a good idea for making some quick extra money to collect them every hour or so?

Its about 2 hours per full harvest I believe.

Remember to use a giant ent as you get about 1.5 per normal fruit (about 9 per tree).

Its worth doing once per farming trip (you can add 2 into the herb run [catherby/brimhaven] and the other 3 are 1 click teleports [teleport crystal and spirit trees])

Nah, if you want papayas, just buy a fruit bat pouch and some scrolls and spam-scroll. You'll get more papayas than you could want.

I'm not on lunar and I go to shilo through my house in Karamja and always pick up papayas on my way to shilo.

 

I don't know if it is worth it, but it doesn't cost any effort.

I have no idea if coconuts take longer to spawn or what, but my palm trees only spawn about 3 - 4 every herb run.

However, I only pick 3 trees out of the 4 i have planted: the gnome stronghold whenever I have to go to the GE (dueling ring tele to ma, then spirit tree), the catherby patch after every farming run, and the brimhaven patch whenever I need a new slayer task from Duradel. I also have one planted outside the gnome maze, but I'm always too lazy to go through the entire routine.

 

But if you want to do fruit tree runs just to collect fruits, that's fine too.
