October 7, 200916 yr So I've yet to go and find Bork, so I have a few questions. 1) My standard melee equipment outfit is Helm of Neitiznot, Amulet of Fury, Abyssal Whip, Crystal Shield, Granite Platebody, Dragon Platelegs, Barrow Gloves, and Dragon Boots (stats in sig). Is this sufficient to do Protect from Magic, or should I wear Black Dragonhide and protect melee? Would a single Prayer Potion and 10 Monk Fish be sufficient to kill him with? 2) I'm hunting Bork primarily for the Odd Old Man's second wish list. Is the Femur a 100% drop or is there a chance that I'll have to go fight him a couple times, or is it common enough to essentially be 100%? (I do realize the Bestiary has it, but most of these higher level monsters on the list drop them in the first drop for me). 3) What roughly are Bork's, the Ork Legion's, and Surok's max hits? don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
October 7, 200916 yr Dhide and mele pray is better than mele tanking seeing as how the mage doesn't hit as much as Bork. The bone is not 100% drop, it took me 3 attempts to get it. Can't help with the max hits, sorry. Edited October 7, 200916 yr by Askthedude Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.
October 7, 200916 yr The drop is not 100% but is common enough that you should be able to get it after a few tries. As for equipment I think the mage is very accurate so I took full offense, in this case bandos and just prayed melee. You should be able to kill Bork fast while only using maybe 2 food. Take d-hide or karils if you want but I didn't really notice a big difference. [Guild Wars 2-In game screenshot, the MMORPG you are waiting for. Click for thread.
October 7, 200916 yr I also suggest pray melee and wearing dragonhide. I also use a super attack/str sip before battle, and pray piety. I don't like messing around. The prayer pot will be fine, but Fally Shield 3 works every day for free...
October 7, 200916 yr The mage doesn't use magic; you cannot evade the damage he deals in any way, except by forcing bork to summon legions just at the time the mage fires a spell at you. That means maximize melee/prayer (bandos/proselyte) and pray melee. Most legions will use melee, but even proselyte blocks almost every ork legion range att, so you will be fine. R.I.P. oO000oO0oO00, RS2 range pure transformed to a maxed PvM char in EoC, ten years of time completely wasted.Good to be gone :)
