gorgoroth Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 TBH you shouldnt do either. Superheating Iron Ore is the way to go. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gorgoroth Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 umm...no offence but i need 2k more superheats than i do high alchs and humidifys so its completely out of the question, thank you for replying though.Well, you can do 1.2k Alchs an hour MAX, and 1.5k Superheats an hour MAX. So Superhating is going to be faster anyway. Its about 67k Alching and 75k Superheating. Superheating wins :) You could always try the Superheat - Alching Combo. I've heard it gets about 130k EXP an hour. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gorgoroth Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Superheating will work out cheaper. If you Superheat Iron Ore you will get the following: 1 * Iron Ore = 193 gp1 * Iron Bar = 371 gp1 * Nature Rune = 282 gp 193 + 282 = 475 gp. 475 - 371 = 104 gp Loss If you Alch Yew/Magic Longbows you will get the following (I believe these are the best items to High Alch? Or one of the most Common): 1 * Bow = 668 gp/1448 gp 1 * Nature Rune = 282 gpBow alchs for 768gp/1536gp 668 + 282 = 950 gp1448 + 282 = 1730 gp 960 - 768 = 192 gp Loss1730 - 1536 = 194 gp Loss. Superheating is 88 - 90 gp cheaper per cast.So ummm.... Superheating wins. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gorgoroth Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 To answer your origianal question: Alching is faster than Humidifying. Whilst Humidifying offers some profit i would go with alching since it is about x2 faster. However, both of these methods are outdated. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gandorf61 Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Locked upon owner's request. Basically what the other users were trying to tell you is that you would save enough money by using the superheat spell rather than high alching that you could afford the extra 2k nature runes. ;-) Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!
