With all the teleports in RS mounts seem kind of useless anyway.

Give it a break. How don't you know it's not a hint at carousels? Or perhaps it's a hint that they're (take a deep breath now) not releasing either. :-o

 

Jagex have said they aren't making mounts and/or horses anyway.

 

And they have said it many more times than one. Sorry to destroy your dream, but this isn't likely to happen.

When they purposeful gives hints and players predict updates, Jagex says nothing. When players guess completely idiotic ideas like having horses, Jagex says they aren't going to create those ridiculous ideas.

It's been made clear before that spam doesn't belong on the forums. So that 'nothing' is something because it is spam that should be locked.

In order for mount to even be a feasible idea, Jagex has to do the following:

 

Add new distant land areas and cities that have no easy, instantaneous travelling options.

 

Have mounts travelling faster than our character's running speed.

 

 

 

Other than that I don't see the need for it in-game, except to look cool.

Horses would likely require skills to use. If that were the case, then we already know that it'll be released for PVP for a day, then removed the next day.

You're calling me a tool, because I said the topic is stupid and should be locked. You said it's just for laughs. If one creates a topic, "Just for laughs", that means it should be just locked. What's there to discuss? Nothing. Hell, we could speculate about a piece of sand that's more visibile in the desert than any other piece. And I'm sure there's a lot of fools who would. Seriously, it's not my lacking a sense of humour. I just don't like stupidity around here. Or attention seeking. Even worse when they both come together, in the same thread at the very beginning.
