im thinking about doing something similar to this, as RS is getting extremely boring for me lately, now would probaly be a good time for me to start considering im at basically nothing (addicted to pking ftw?)

Been watching this blog since you changed over. Not quite as cool as Itam (he started from scratch) but still pretty cool that you converted to DYI. I've considered it once I get maxed melee/range and 88 or 96 summon and all stats 70+ (buyables 80+)... but I would do Lootshare, solo, and FFA, just not coinshare. Keep up the good work and good luck on a pair of claws! (although I never saw the point in claws unless you pk other than $$$)

 

I will keep checking up on this as I think its interesting. If I ever got semi-DYI we could do a DYI FFA Bandos mass for lols.

Yeah, at no point did I say im as cool as Itam lol. Getting that accomplished completely DIY from scratch is just insane lol. Btw, I want claws for a couple reasons, pking so I have a constant supply of cash for kingdom, nice spec wep at barrows, so I can move towards my goal of getting all barrows armor, and also just to have an epic wep for a change lol

Well. Today, I went skiing =]

I also got like 150 bars at avans, going for 300 so I can get 73 smith

I also killed like freaking 50 Tormented demons so far, will kill more in a bit

I did a clue with a really weird reward. Anyone ever seen this before?

On RSC(don't hat me >.<) you should check out MetalManiac9's goal topic. I believe he's about 14/16 somewhere around there 99's all DIY including summoning, firemaking, and magic(getting own flax, spinning to bs, cutting mages, fletchting etc.) He's definietly some inspiration. Didn't mean to thread jack you >.<

What has ski been up to since he got claws? well.

Ever since the obby update, I've been killing obbys, and selling whatever drops I get for tokkul.

 

Here are my drops so far

Ohh, you pro. Why are you getting onyx so quickly? You cant craft it yet =P

 

Quick question, are you farming and doing daily activities? The daily activities can be very good for exp and for profit.

 

[Hide= "Don't Look if you do Dailies"]Bork- Charms(not that you need), coins, and gems

Bert- Sand(used for glass)

Guy in catherby- Pineapples(super compost) and seaweed(used with sand)

Zaff- Battlestaves(free crafting exp)

If you have ardy cloak you get some pess too

Tears of Guthix/Penguins/Circus each week add up quick for experience

 

I would def recommend doing battlestaves, sand, and seaweed daily... make glass and orbs then charge them and make [element] battlestaves. After you make you can alch for cash, but you also get crafting and magic exp which add up quickly.

 

Also, for herb levels buy vials of water, eyes of newt and farm irits... common seed + easily obtainable second/vial and decent exp.

 

Probably some stuff I'm forgetting, but you get the idea. [/Hide]

 

Keep it up man! Because of you and Itam I am playing RSC on the side fully DIY. I may make my rs2 character DIY one day, but I want all skills 80+ first to make getting stuff a whole lot easier!

Finally obby shield lol, can ditch my rune kite.

 

About 1.7m tokkul so far, I'll hopefully get the rest by tomorrow.

I just stopped posting all my obby drops lol, I think I got up to 10 capes, 2 shields, 6 knives, 1 sword

I have decided, that since my DIY is mainly item-based, I'm gonna "noob out" and get assistance for 4 things.

Furies

Godsword Blades

Attaching sigils to spirit shields

Dragon platebody

 

I will still not trade, and use my own skills for everything except for these 4 exceptions. And who knows, by the time I get all shards, I might have 85 smith lol.
