Hey guys. I just recently came back to RS like 3 weeks ago after a long 2 year break. Back in the day, I made a lot of money at barrows and my method that I remember is with guthan and pray pots doing a lot of runs, but I dont remember how I approached it so I chose my old classic slayer dart method. I've dont about 20 runs so far and I have got nothing yet.. My KC stays at 6. Does this affect anything now? And btw, heres my setup:

 

 

Anything I am doing wrong or should do differently? This is like my only way of making good cash, which I need right now..

You have to remember, its all luck. I've gone over 50 runs dry before, and many other have done much worse. Then all of a sudden you could get 3 items in 10 runs. On average, its around one item every 16 chests I heard, but that is an average. Just keep at it, and eventually you'll get a drop.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure you need to get more kc than just killing the brothers to get some runes. So if you dont' get an item, at least you make some if it back from the runes. So try to get around 10+ kc. I always get 12, and that's worked fine for me.

People have gone 200+ trip with nothing, really after doing only 20 runs you shouldn't think something wrong. After getting 6 kc from the brothers the only only thing that changes is how many runes/coins/racks you get. I would replace the wealth ring with something that gives a boost (wealth does not help here), and your unholy book for a defense based shield, or even a defender.

All this has been said, but the wealth is useless here, and you should definitely get over 12 kc, the money you make from bloods/racks will help out even when you aren't getting a lucky item. You're doing fine, it's just such a random thing. Good luck.

like someone above said, i've went well over 275 runs without a single item so dont get discouraged by not getting an item from only 20 runs(btw i also done 15+ kc each run).

If you don't get above 6 kc you wont get many (if any?) runes/bolt racks. I CBB looking up the actual numbers, but I believe it's something like 7kc for bolt racks, and 9 or 11 for runes.

Yes, getting that 9 or 11 kc for runes can make up for some loses in the long run.

12+ kc will make sure you make a profit per trip.

There was a lot of research and the band for buck mark was 12/13.

6 only allows barrows items and 12 allows for everything, I can't remember the marks in-between.
