XPLOSIV6
hi heres the little bit about luring dark beasts in light temple.this should work and has worked as long as i have been mining runite here (several thousand ores).the only exception ive found is with people slaying in the same world if they slay close to the rock, then youll find the beast to the >>> are unable to pass those trying to attack a slayer. if you need me to explain anything, please let me know :) you need to do the following: or: if its still not clear, heres a youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SkbqHktDaI usually it is much faster, but i have moved slower to aide in the learnng process. hope this is a welcome addition :) xplosiv. SO what im ginger, I fry in the sun, and have a temper, at least I can laugh at myself.

mweddle
I have found a way to get your spot in mining if your a low level 99.99999999% of the time! What you do is you go to a f2p Postugeese PvP world and mine there. When I play there are rarely more than 55 people on each world! Zaaps1
Thanks for sharing your tip! I am doubtless that you indeed find great privacy in that world. However I cannot add that tip because of the scarcity of Portuguese PvP worlds. If even a few more people knew about it, it wouldn't be so good anymore. ~It's Super Effective! Teryaki
Well i was Born on May 6 So thats pretty intresting, but more importantly the topic.I Believe anyone can get the mining level they want if they try the only problem is that Runescape is just a game.. People dont want to work hard on skills they would rather get an east 99 like cooking where all u do is bank and clickAlthough mining is basically the same thing(unless you power mine) people dont really like Mining that much because its just boring. I am on their side of the story because ive tried several occasions and could not consist to mine for 2 constant days. But i will agree runescape isnt made to be easy, when you do have determination for the skill/level you want you should be able to do it no matter what. And hey to be honest if runescape wasnt hard you wud see to many skillcapes and if u havent seen world 2 GE there are always over 10 Newbies asking to see everyones skillcapes emotes. I Guess A very Nice Guide, 10/10 P.S: Its helped me a lot, when i finish my 90 Woodcutting goal ill make sure to go mine with your strategy, Good Job! =D>
Youmu
I know a super-secret method about powermining iron in the Hobogoblin's mine that can get me 3 inventories in 2 minutes (I have tested), but I'm not sure if I should share it here. If you want to know the exp/hour, multiply 35 by 84 (which gets you 2940), then multiply the figure by 30 (which gets you 88200). This figure was obtained on a full world. However, the time spent dropping the ores, hoogoblin/revenant attacks, mistakes in timing, mining gems, and less people in the world can mess up your exp/hour. So, expect 70k-80k exp/hour on average. It may seem kinda unbelievable, but that's what I got. I hope this method doesn't spread out to others... Constant mining with 3 iron ores in a horseshoe shape dropping while you turn on a full work cannot net 88k exp per hour. No idea how it could get any faster than that. I think you've make a mistake, tbh.
Youmu
It's a spot where you can mine four iron rocks constantly. It's in the hobogoblin's mine, the east iron spot. Though, I already said, factors such has hobogoblins, revenants, etc can hamper your exp/hour, so it can be anywhere between 50k-80k exp/hour depending on how annoying the monsters are. Youmu
Three iron rocks in a full world is enough for constant mining already, though, yes?I tried three iron rocks on a full world, but either there are other people taking one of the rocks or I mess up often. With four, you can easily keep count. I'll post a pic of the spot here: You mine the rocks circled in red, and you should only stand on the squares shaded in blue. On the north square, mine the two north rocks. On the south square, mine the two south rocks. Once you get a full inventory, drop them all, and repeat. I was able to get up to 3 full inventories within 2 minutes (the time it takes for the ores to disappear). On a BH +1 world, I was able to get up to 2. Though, on any other world, there are revenants, and there aren't any on a BH/PvP world. Kaida23
 You're really getting 50-80k per hour mining??? In F2P??? I've definitely got to try this!!! Zaaps1
Very, very interesting, Sonic. However, I would like to confirm this myself or have a few others do so, because it really is a huge jump in xp/hr. ~It's Super Effective! I've definitely got to try this!!!This exp/hour is not yet confirmed though. What I definitely know is that it is possible to mine + drop 2 inventories and fill a third one within two minutes using this method. Zaaps1
In other words, Sonic's figure of ~80kxp/hr is more of a maximum than a practical number. ~It's Super Effective! Factors such as monsters can hamper the exp/hour, sometimes by a lot. A more practical number would be what I stated above (~50k). Kaida23
Even 50k/hour would still be phenomenal for F2P. Especially if it can be done consistently. Mischlings
Do you need tests to be a full hour or is it acceptable to do a shorter test? (example: using an obsidian golem (55 minutes) to mine and basing numbers on the duration of one familiar) If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature. Zaaps1
If it's 55 minutes, then there isn't a problem. I'm fine with using proportions as long as the number it's based off of isn't too low, like off 10 minutes or something. 55 is definitely ok, just post both pre-conversion and post-conversion numbers. I also get similar Xp/hour doing this on worlds with 400-600 people. I'll try and get a 3-rock rate on a 1400+ world. I think it may give higher Xp/hour.
