bursting vs other methods

Im currently looking at bursting for 88 summoning, i need a good inv +gear for my level. I would also like the potential cost of bursting to 88. My budget is about 12mil.

if you dont think i have the levels for bursting, please suggest another method.

I would like to get it in a month or so.

 

please also say, if possible, about how many of ea type of charm i need. I have about 1.4crim,280blue,2-2.5k gold and about 2 greens at the moment.

No way in hell. 80-88 is 14mil if you already have the charms stock-piled. Expect more like 25mil with bursting.

I did 79-88 and it cost me about 16m in coins. I did use about 4k greens on Fruit bats (becuz i can). Bursting will only increase that.

 

Just camp waterfiends with a Bunyip healing you. There area few ways to do this. Void, Normal mage def gear, Dharoking or Guthans. Since your stats are up there the first 3 may be where u should be looking at.

What are you making? Just Fruit Bats? Whoever calced it for you was wrong. It actually cost me 26m but thats because i died with 10m in shards on me. Prices might have gone up some, but it should make the price increase that much.

Prices of bursting has gone up a bit but the Seconds not so much. Still you need a good 30m to burt to 88 and then use them. Camping at Waterfiends is the best but it can be a bit annoying.

You could also go Slay for charms, you'll get a few nice drops along the way.

Slay a bit of them for variation and go to wfs.

For me 81 (you should get to 81 with those charms in your bank) to get to 88 it would cost me over 25m in just runes. Thats not taking into account prayer pots, ahrims degrading or anything else.

With seconds and shards your talking 35m easy.

 

Failing bursting you could cannon for blues or chin for crimsons (both about on par in summoning exp per hour).

Wouldnt the Drops from Lobsters pay for the degrading atleast? I'm sure that in 15 Hours you get atleast enough for the degrading. Maybe a few P Pots too.

The degrading depends on your method. A lot of people use veracs and ahrims combo (veracs for the lure) which doubles the degrade cost.

The drops should cover the non-rune supplies, but might not always.

As for p pots it depends on how you lure (with ahrims or prossy/veracs) and if you have an SGS.

Well when I bursted from 80 summoning, and I believe like 100 of each charm at the start, it cost my my zgs at that time, so around 30m. It might've gone up a bit, but I'd say it was worth it, because I gained 6 magic levels (84 to 90), 8 summoning levels (80 to 88), and one or two hp levels. Also, I wouldn't have been able to stand waterfiends for at least 40ish hours (most likely more), and bursting was much easier/less boring.
