Amonitas
Has someone ever walked towards you and a message says: X wants to trade with you.You click it, curious to see what he might be offering. But then it takes 15 seconds and nothing happens. Then he puts a steel scimitar and 148 gp along with a couple of bones to the trading screen. Then they decline it. This has happened to me about 6 times a day, in f2p of course, when I became a member, this has been done only once. But just has this ever happened to you and what the hell is the point of this? Omali
I used to get people to do this to do a price check, not so much anymore since the price check feature. It is annoying, yes.
Saunamajuri
Never happened, only someone trading, doing nothing on the trade screen, i exit the screen and he says give money. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game. sees_all1
usually I'll randomly trade someone - say I'm trying to make bank space. I target lvls 3-30, and make sure its worth their while (i.e. more than 2k total). But I guess that's different, because I'm giving away free stuff, rather than showing it and declining. For me it's easier than dropping it :P Anyhow, that has happened to me a few times too, but only when I was under level 50. Since then, people don't bother me as much. 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
Youmu
Nobody has really traded me these few days really. I almost always use the GE for trading, and whenever some random noob comes and tries to offer me a trade, I just ignore it. Kawts
If it annoys you so much, why would you click the trade option? Haha.I mean, by now its clear that you realise its going to be a pointless trade. I think we all experience it, I only accept out of pure curiousity. Also, think about it, its only all of 10 seconds. Not much of a loss? You are playing 'Runescape' remember ^.^ Thanks to LowFatMilk for the sig
Shazarabbit
Just don't accept it, or turn trades to friends only and switch back when you want to trade that is really the only solution to your problem. Guthorm
Ah I had that happen a few times, first they put up the trade screen and I stare at it for a couple seconds before asking them what do they want, then comes the reply "Can I have your gs?" "Can I have some money?". I usually close the screen and tell them why can't they tell me first then trade me, and then I run away, sometimes when I feel good I might give them something though.
