Delay between clicks and attacks

Ok I never noticed the delay was so freaking long with the new RuneTek engine.

I've now died 3 times in my house in the last week all due to delayed attacks/clicks.

 

The first 2 was me trying out TD's which in fail at its best. I screwed up and got piled so it hit teletab, then I appeared in the house both times and took 30+ damage along with splashes.

 

I was just solo maging DK's and prime got onto me by surprise (another wonder of the RT engine, but thats a whole different topic).

I got hit a 40 or so by prime then a bit more damage by either rex or spins so I double click the teletab (double just in case I missed the first one).

About 2 seconds later I'm in my house 20ish hp, then out of my house, then back in my house 0 hp and then back out.

I looked like it killed me once in the house then teleported my out, only to repeat it again with a full red bar in the house the second time.

 

This was in a world without lag, there was no spikes in my connection or anything else my side.

 

I'm so glad I use house teletab as otherwise I'd have lost the repair costs atleast 3 times over.

 

It seriously needs fixing.

 

O and thinking about it I've died with 0-2 hp before thanks to the weird way death works (got ko'd bunyip healed from 0 to 2 a milisecond or so after it hit 0.

I've noticed this too, but I thought I was the only one. It seems like it takes 2-3 clicks for any action now and it sucks.

The most annoying thing about the new engine is lag-outs.

 

Seriously, now I can't even play an hour without the game bringing me back to the log-on screen.

That has to do with your internet, because I am not having that problem at all.

So people all over the world suddenly began experiencing internet problems coinciding with the time of the Rune Tek 5 update?

 

I've been having terrible problems with Runescape for the past few months. It's fast becoming unplayable.

I wouldn't really call it "unplayable" though...

 

It's just a tiny bit delayed which is actually quite negligible... but still annoying.

EVERYTHING is delayed. Attacking is delayed. Switching weapons is delayed. It takes multiple tries to just move things around my inventory. I can't even withdraw multiple items rapidly. After tasks I always use Contact NPC, and it takes an annoyingly long time to withdraw the runes for the spell, because if I click them in rapid succession nothing happens!

The only upside is that drinking potions between attacks seems to be a tad easier.

I meant its becoming unplayable for me. I have the works, i7 extreme, 2x gtx 295s, 12gb of ram. My internet connection is the fastest in Australia, and I still have all these problems with RS. The main one, when I FINALLY get into the game, is the lag and the fact that I have to click multiple times to ensure the action is performed.

I also like the miclicking. Clicking on an item in my bank to withdraw it and having another random items, rows down and 8 spaces over coming out. It's awesome. This in addition to it not properly recognizing my mouseclicks. Runetek5 is really not so great.

This has NEVER happened to me, so it has to be either your mouse or your mousepad.

 

I firemaked for an hour and my cursor is still where I want it to be.
