But After I did that, the size was 1.01 GB, I thought it was supposed to compress it down so it could fit in an email attachment? I need some help with this, as I am not computer smart. It compresses a bit, yeah, but not enough for video via email.Buy a usb memory, you can get a 8gb one for 10. Stragomagus Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 There is also another way you could do it, but it involves splitting the file into bits and pieces.so the file is 1.01 GB if the file is split into floppy disk size, there will be approximately a thousand or so of the file that will have to be re-merged after all e-mails are sent. Splitting it into 10MB will result in just over 100 pieces to re-merge. This method assumes that both parties have the software to split and merge the files.
