Didn't yall hear? You can only get monster-specific items (Dragoon boots, Abyssal Whips, Dark Bows) from the creature while only on task. I for one am glad they changed this.[/sarcasm]

The thing is you get faster kills when on task, so per hour you would be getting more rare drops even if the drop rate is the same.

The rates don't change just the speed.

Not necessarily true.

 

This is only true if you are meleeing and using a black mask or slayer helm
