SS = ZS. Only GS thats really good there is SGS and that due to its spec. There area few other ways to kill them. If you're looking to get att exp try using the Whip+Def on them. I used that when i was getting def to 99 and it wasn't all to bad. But i was also 99 attack so idk how much that would affect it.

Actually, spear has +5 crush accuracy while SS has +7 strength bonus. Strength is normal more valuable per point, but since accuracy is important at fiends, they're roughly the same.

 

Whip+Def only really works with 99 att+slayer helm (you might even want to use 10% accuracy if you do try it). Even then, ZS/SS have better DPS. Kinda pointless trying it because the only reason to do it is if you want attack exp, however you pretty much need 99 attack to do it properly.

 

On topic, godswords are horrible at waterfiends. Godswords only come out on top when whip (or ZS/SS in this case) have extremely low accuracy. A weapon on crush mode is actually pretty accurate there, so godswords are a no-no. If you aren't fussed about what exp you want to get and you don't already have either a ZS/SS, go with ZS. Just because it costs less.
