Run CWShredder to fix your CWS problem fix this this, it is unneccessery. In training i was always told to remove them unless the user set them. did u set it anyway? if not run cws shredder then fix the lines. That should be your internet start and search page. can i also ask what is this line? I can't update it either. I set my homepage to google, and I put my search page on the default a while ago. I don't know how you get the search page though. I know that for a while I was getting a homepage that I couldn't change, and I couldn't leave. I have no idea what "kbdfn.dll" is. I don't know much about the workings of my computer, I'm thirteen! I usually just do a google search to find stuff... I am 13 too. all you need is some training and a few tests then before you know it you can join the alliance security analysist professionals (ASAP for short) btw i think you might of got one of the 4-5 new cws infections. This log shows no signs of a CWS infection at all, neither in the HJT log or any symptoms described. Who said it was professional? its just the name. kk i reapply for training again if u want. I would seriously laugh if more than 10 here are actually trained themselves. If i post a log containing new.net i would really wanna see how you people cope with it. you people might end up ripping my lsp chain and breaking down the whole internet connection. i would also want u to tell me all the variants of the cws and their symptoms. feel free to pm me with the results. i am going to pm u with a average HJT log that you will get at proper forums and see how you will cope. Some of us here are in security professions as REAL JOBS. I am almost 10 years older than you and have been working with HJT and security in IT for a lot longer than you. I dont "need" to be part of a group of unqualified people with a false title. No I havnt trained myself, ive been on real profesisonal courses and been following the anti-spyware community for years. New.net isnt the only thing to mess up the LSPsock. In your case however maybe it would be a good thing if i messed up your internet connection. You cant seriously ask me to name all CWS variants, there are literally hundreds. If this was a trick question then you didnt catch me out. Me > you pm ignored. The reason that I say I have a CWS infection is that whenever I run Steganos Aspy 7, I have to delete CWS, but it won't delete and keeps reappearing. Maybe I don't and Steganos is just garbage, but I have gotten cws in lists on various other anti-virus/spyware(mal-ware) repeatitively. I have no training with computers at all. Everything that I know is from my own experiments and the all powerful internet.
