Glitch in Runecrafting Guild

I was waiting to get into a GOP game, but then I noticed the score to the right.

How can this happen BEFORE the game starts?

I always saw Great Orb Project as a glitchfest, and hated getting Green Runecrafter Robes. This proves it.

This happens if you're in the yellow team as well. (Assuming that you're saying only green is glitched.)

There's also glitches like the invisible barrier glitch. Plus, the fact that the game frequently doesn't respond prevented me from getting tokens AT ALL.

Pretty much everyone knows GoP is a glitchfest, it just amazes me how Jagex could let a potentially good minigame go to waste because they don't bother to polish it.

That's not what I meant. :P I was talking about getting the reward of Greeen Runecrafter Robes.

I vote Jagex take their 'Update Year' and updates this minigame, but they should get around to it quick. They're running out of time.

I want them to properly fix it, and rebuild from the ground up. The emote fix they just implemented is really crud coding, fixing the symptom and not the problem. A real world example would be the steering wheel of this car is vibrating. So we'll wrap duct tape around it. Now it doesn't vibrate in my hands, but the underlying problem still isn't fixed.

Although, that just may be how runescape is put together. Crud coding piled on to more crud coding. I haven't seen what's under the hood, so I can't say much; but if it's anything like GOP, woe is runescape.

99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me!

So you're saying that just because GOP is made of crud coding, everything else in Runescape is? Umm... NO.

You're right to an extent though. GOP is so problematic because Jagex forgets about it. That's why it took them months to fix the air-mind autowin glitch, and another several months to fix the emote glitch.

Lmao that's cool. After playing GOP a while ago I went Rcing at Entrana and It still saw the pointer thingy pointing at the GOP portal.

24vi79k.jpg

I agree 100% with you! Gop is way too glitchy! I amaze me how Jagex keeps fixing small issues like grammar errors in some quests or references to older content but they don't give a minute to Gop!

When I got my 50 Rcing I was soo happy to finally get to play Gop. My first game starts after 5seconds attracting orbs to the air altar I got kicked out of the game and the wizard told me: You claimed 0 altars and the yellow got 6 :x

ANd this happened to me several times now...

C'mon Jagex!

  • 4 weeks later...

i believe the game is still showing the score of the previous game, and because a new game didn't start yet, the scores weren't erased.
