TzHaar Slayer

Featured Replies

I just got my first TzHaar task, I have no idea how to go about doing this task as I've never killed n e TzHaar monsters outside the fight cave. Just so you know I declined the option to fight Jad, and I want to fight the monsters around TzHaar not the monsters in the fight cave. So my questions are:

What do I wear?

Whats the best place to fight the monsters?

well i melee pretty much everything, especially for slayer.

Wikia says they're weak to crush, so i'd probably go around with an ss or a z-spear, unless i find that i rarely miss with a whip

you can use prayer, go into fight caves and die to restore prayer, but sounds like that strat would be somewhat time consuming.

Honestly i would just don the best armor i can, and just melee away like i would anything else.

It is multicombat so bring a combat familiar.

It's pretty much just a standard melee task like gargoyles except a bit more dangerous but closer to a bank. They are weak to crush, but can be killed with a whip, and they have a crushing attack (At least that's what I noticed).

I suppose you could get a Dragon Halberd and kill them while using a Sulphur Vent for protection. I aim for the meleers. Kets, I think.

Considering your levels, just bring Bandos (or some other good armor) and using a whip is good enough. Bring a Unicorn or Bunyip since the big Tzhaar can hit somewhat well. Also, don't attack the black ones holding a staff, they use magic.

I was there not long ago to collect obby charms, and I just hacked away on them with full bandos, whip and rune defender. I used an iron titan as combat familiar. Since the bank is so close, and you have to bank anyway for the obby charms, I used cheap food like tuna's. I think I used like 8 tuna or so per inventory of obby charms.
