stonewall337
The new ferocious rings are great for rangers. I'm currently ranging iron dragons with the ferocious ring, full void, and broad bolts. I have 95 range and with a range pot and flashing the 15% prayer I can hit 45s. Not a lot, but I've seen quite a few of em. So yeah, ranged and mage have been underpowered for a while in terms of slayer training, but now ranged is actually able to do something. Not sure how well the ring works with mage though. Void sucks at iron+steel dragons. You really should be using d'hide/arma. The lack of range offense really hurts against higher defense creatures. For Steels sure, but Irons are easily managed with Void. The challenge of a mistake is not to avoid it. The challenge of a mistake is dealing with the outcome. Proud of who I am and what I am. bedman
The ferocious ring favours fast weapons, so knives darts and shortbows should profit the most from the +4 (which is always a +4 as long as you dont hit a 0!) Big_Stingman
It's a challenge to get it in my eyes, and the reward fits it nicely. Oh and let's not forget how completely Bad-a** it looks.
Lets_3ekout
it is no more overpowered then the black mask they have the same bonuses. only real bonus is for dust devils, and banshees see as slave ammy(e) already gave +15 to damage to aberrant specters.Slayer helm + Fury is actually better offence wise (defence aswell I think...) . Salve + Neitz is a pretty poor combo since you're taking away all the bonuses of a fury for +3 strength and 5% attack/strength. 5% is pretty darn small - and if you count up percentage bonuses of the salve and slayer helm you'll see that the 15% boost with fury adds up to more than the 20% with salve. I'd bet that even with a glory the slayer helm would come out on top - but I haven't counted nor tested that. Most of the time you can't even use a neitz with the salve since you're forced to use the facemask or earmuffs (or both). I always thought salve was better until I counted it and tested it so I'm sure there are plenty of people who might benefit from reading this  A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|
