Blood runs deep final battle help

Featured Replies

I am having trouble beating the Dagg Mother, I use veracs except for the raiding axe, blood spells, and crystal bow as well as a terrorbird follower. I get it down to low HP, but then I am forced to teleport out of there. Anyone got any advice for me?

Try not using Veracs. I wore mystic, helm of neitiznot, dragon boots, and barrows gloves. I brought the same spells and bow as you. I brought a War Tortoise filled with sharks and had a pray pots and sharks in my inventory. I used like 6 sharks during the battle. Just learn when to prayer switch.

Initially go in with the Balmung (and protect melee) and hit her, then back off so she won't use melee. Then put on protect from whatever she's currently using and attack her respectively. When she switches to the other attack, switch your prayer. Just takes some decent timing.

Firstly get the heck off ancients.

You want to be using air, water, earth, fire spells on thoose colours you'll kill her much faster.

Secondly the guy aboves advice is good, failing that wearing good range/melee defence and prayer hop eatting as needed.

I took "blood" spells as the waves that use bloods. I spaced off the possibility of ancients. If you're using ancients, yes, get off! Use your standard spellbook.

That is true, but wave and surge both use bloods.

And I've never really heard the use of mind spells, chaos spells, death spells etc being mainstream. Its always been strikes, bolts, blasts and waves; while ice blood shadow smoke refer to ancients so I assumed blood spells to be ancients

He was also referring to the equipment that he brought, and he chose to name the runes instead of saying "runes for wave" or something. [/Meaningless BS]

I really have nothing more to add because I had a hard as hell time against her since I was wearing welfare gear, just make sure to bring a 1 click tele  .

When you protect against her current combat style, she will switch combat styles. If you do not protect against it, she will not switch. Use this to your advantage. Pray until she uses melee, then stop praying protection prayers altogether. She will now only melee you (until you step out of range for a while or pray melee, that is).

Given that her melee attack is the strongest,, why wuld u want her on melee?
