iron dragons

i have iron dragons as a slayer task are they herder to kill than green or blue dragons. I have 69 att, str, def. my combat lvl is 93.

They are a lot harder to kill than blue and green dragons. They hit a lot harder, and they have pretty high defence. Now, I don't know your ranged level, but I would guess magiing them is your best option.. Hope this helps

Tbh, everyone can kill them. All you need is 43 prayer, prayer pots and antifire pots. Meleeing them is your best bet, maging is way too expensive.

I don't think magic is a bad option if you use the chaos gauntlets from Family Crest. Melee is good too, but in addition to prayer potions and anti-fires use super attack and strength to kill them more quickly.

If I get em as a task I just range em with addy bolts...

You don't need pray pots, only dragonfire pots and although it takes a lil longer than melee u don't need food/p pots so this is a cheap way to whack em.

You can avoid getting hit altogether if you mage/range with a Anti-Dragon Shield and use Antifire Pots.

 

The question with metals isn't if you CAN kill them, because any kid with a stack of runes, an anti-dragonshield, and a dose of antifire can kill one without too much trouble. The question is how quickly or efficiently you can kill them. Since you are training slayer, I recommend skipping the task. If you cannot, well, there's a first time for everything.
