Kemios tries to shoot a lightning bolt at the wolf with the aid of his lightning staff.

Archarnis, being honourable, offer to escort Mueller home(I am changing that name to something I can spell easily...), which is accepted. At the other end Archarnis is invited in for a nightcap, which is accepted.

Archarnis feels the night went well until they got into bed. Then it just went pear-shaped.

Grim comes to the sight of a recent battle.

Vera-

You look around, spotting a chest hidden under a bush.

Grim looks around for survivors and when he finds them he tries to heal them.

Kemios zaps the wolf, but does no real damage.

The wolf also does no real damage in its attack.

Vera walks over, and attempts to open the chest.

Grim finds a single survivour. He manages to stabilise her but she seems to have slipped into a coma.

Grim tries again to heal the survivor.

Vera-

Just as you are about to open the chest you spot a fairly obvious trap.

Grim gets the impression he might have to enter her Coma to bring her out of it.

Grim attempts to communicate telepathically with her and so "enter her coma"

Vera backs away from the chest, and looks for a long branch (10'+), and cuts it with the sword, and then attempts to trigger the trap from a distance.

(I assume trap disarming is out of the question for now, with tentacles.)

Grim communicates with her.

What do you want to say?

"What is your name and why are you upon the field of battle?"

Vera- Well disarming traps can be as simple as holding something down so it doesn't spring up and set something off...so there is always a chance.

Anyway

You set the trap off, which seems to be a gas cloud.

Kemios shoots another lightning bolt at the wolf.

Vera waits for the cloud to disperse.

 

(tell me if it's not going to disperse for a while or something)

Grim

"I am Hamilton. I am a guardian from Terrestia. We were attacked by the rebels. Are they dead?"

Kemios fails to summon a lightening bolt

 

The wolf lunges again, doing some minor damage.

Vera-

The cloud disperses.

Kemios shoots a sound bolt followed by a lightning bolt at the wolf, both with aid of his staff.

Vera approaches the chest once again, looks it over for any more traps, and if none attempts to open it.

Grim replies "You were the only person alive that I found upon the field today, may I ask why the rebels.... rebelled?"

Kemios finally kills the wolf
