rangeor Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 You do the quest up until the point where you must go to waterbirth island to save King Vargas. Talk to Bardur to get a rope by the entrance, then go west and go down the hole. You'll find King Vargas and if you agree to help him you'll appear in the room right before the big room with all 3 monsters, plus the rock lobsters most people stop at. Now, the trick is instead of helping him all the way to the end, you get him killed. This is because if he's alive and you go down to the Dagganoth Kings' lair, you'll start over. rangeor Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 The only thing you can do to ruin the shortcut is to lead him all the way to the end of waterbirth, which you won't do by accident if your intent is to only use it as a shortcut :P I agree Qeltar.
