Ive seen a few guides to chinchompa them, is it worth doing that at 83 range? w/o void.

I wouldn't do it tbh...

I did it last week with 88 range & w/o void and I didn't find it to be so accurate...

Better to melee em at that spot -> less crowded :)

When I was working slayer, I use to love getting Nechs as a task. At that time the rune boots sold for 200-300k and the drops were very good for farming.

 

When ranging with chins, it is best to be where you can throw them into a crowd. That is next to impossible where the Nechs are. Range does work real well in there if you stand behind that one table in the corner and if the other players in there respect your need to get the nechs closest to you there.

 

I preferred straight melee with Guthans at the time. Those red flyers don't hit very hard; but they were a nuisance unless you could get them stuck behind something. With Guthans I never had to worry about them and just kept attacking the nechs.

Actually in the chaos tunnels it is quite easy to get them into a crowd and hit many at one time. I've done it once for a slayer task of about 180 of them, and it definitely sped up the task, however I can't really say if it's good at 83 ranged, because I'm 95 ranged.
