I'd imagine divine is much more useful for Nomad, and most boss huntsBUT I DIGRESS The shield has been rising steadily. If you can actually get your hands on one and intend to use it for boss hunting/nomad, yeah it's a good investment(as long as you still have enuf money so that buying the shield doesnt get in the way of daily activities of course) How do you intend to get the shield though?

January 26, 201016 yr For general knowledge, Divine is better for soloing bosses, Elysian for teaming. Actually, not really. Divine is both cheaper to use, as far as GP to HP healed, and is consistent. However, Prayer renewing objects aren't stackable, and methods of healing are, such as unicorn. Yet again, if you have yak, you can really have enough prayer points stored for quite a while. Really, the only places I can think of where Ely>Divine is DKS, since spinos drain prayer, and aviansies, since a bunyip's only cost is for the pouch itself. Using devine in team just seems like overkill to me when even with a DFS you can last as long as your uni/bat pouches last. Especially since as you said prayer renewal can't stack. Since the best bob I have is a war tortoise I'd be worried about running out of ppots/srests in a 5 hour Arma trio. quit
January 26, 201016 yr - Divine does not drain prayer as fast as people think it does. The only real way to see it drain incredibly fast is to solo Kree or Jad with no overhead prayers, or get hit with an incredibly lucky AGS spec. The Divine used to be glitched in that prayer point consumption was calculated before damage reduction from protection prayers. This has been fixed. - Generally, alternative shields are more useful than both the Elysian and Divine. - For soloing, Divine wins, hands down. - For team boss hunting, there are very few situations in which a Divine or Elysian trumps alternatives such as Godswords or Spectral Spirit Shields. Why use a Divine at three-man Arma if your teammates aren't going to be able to last as long? You can't solo on a unicorn alone. Exceptions are Spectral at DK's and possibly Elysian at three-man Arma. - As another poster mentioned, the Divine will actually save you more money than an Elysian in the long run. Here's a nifty thread on the RSOF: 17-18-724-58871816 To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
