Peronix
Right. I need 80 hunter to start hunting butterflies barehanded so that I can train some hunter and agility at the same time, and I'm really, REALLY tired of trying to find a relatively uncrowded world at chins, but then I don't want to sacrifice xp/hr. I heard that red sallys were better, are they? I tried blacks once, but it entails a huge ammount of running around and the atmosphere is just generally dreary (<- same reason I abandoned goblin agility course after one level). And they didn't seem to be any better xp.
Cptbaker08
You can try hunting penguins or try doing papawas/grenwalls. I hear those are decent ways (penguins) and the other tends to be better then those. Chins aren't that great from what i hear unless you're at 80 and are using the 1 spawn and 5 box trick. Peronix
So, penguins are better exp? Or are just an alternative? Cause I'm looking for the fastest method. And, some level 97 hunter just plopped down his traps right in the middle of mine. Not 15 minutes after I spent 5 minutes hopping to find a world with only one other hunter. This has been happening very frequently. I'm going to take a guess that it's because most of these hunters are pures, hence their PKer names. Cptbaker08
Penguins give a little less exp per penguin them salamanders do, but they tend to be closer together and can catch more per hour then red sallys. I personally haven't done any test as i haven't done the quest, but from someone who has done tests say that they are better then reds, even though they give about 50 exp less per catch. Vulxai
I can say that with 68 hunter, I was makin in around 68-67k xp/hr at red sallys without an Arctic Bear, and around 72k x/phr with. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Peronix
Ok, can I assume you mean the net trap penguins? Or the deadfall? (net trap is actually only 20 exp less than sallys)
Zaaps1
I'd really recommend salamanders, or you can use the surround method on chins. ~It's Super Effective!
