Just got 199 Nechryael task and want to try out bursting them. I got 50m cashpile and don't have much of a limit as to what i need to bring.

 

Any guides or suggestions would be nice.

This is a guess on my part, but I would think that Ahrim's with items that focus on prayer bonus in other slots. Probably Soul Wars Cape, fury, unholy book, staff with 10% bonus that isn't Ancient Staff, Ahrim's, and not sure what else. Probably need EE or bunyip for healing the damage you'd take from death spawns. That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Just replace the gear with ahrim/infinity top/bottom and the other slots with prayer bonuses.

Ya i used the guide for chinning, was gonna use the strategy for bursting as well. Was just looking for a setup and inv to bring. Guess I'll have to figure some of it out on my own.

 

This is what i plan on wearing. Gonna bring about 500 ice burst casts and a few blood to restore hp when needed.

I use throwing knives to lure them alltogether, and then start bursting away, with melee protect on.

 

I usually use about 5 prayer pots on a task. And you sometimes will make money on them, just depends on your luck. I usually use around 500-600 casts for a task. With a master wand, you'd probably use less.

Had a task of 199, brought casts for 500 but needed to bank to get the last 23 kills. So about 550-600 casts for the task. Also had all the runes banked from slaying, had tons of waters to use. Also used the low level rush spells to lure, or burst if they were in a little group of them. Made a little over 400k from the task, so i guess i profited lol.

It should be. Here is bladewing's guide to chinning nechs. I based most of what i was doing off of this guide. Depending on drops you can profit. On my task i got a R2H, rune boots, RFH and 2 snap seeds so i think i might have profited. Its a nice way of doing a quick task if you don't feel like meleeing.

 

In the time i was there i got 107k magic exp and about 21k slayer exp in about an hour (how ever long a fire titan lasts). Also got 61 crimsons.

 

But those are from one task and not any real averages. But it still something to look at.

Seeing as i never went below 85 Hp i don't think anyone would need a RoL, unless they have really low defense and take a lot of damage from the death spawns. But seeing as the death spawns attack with magic you should have a decent mage def in that gear. If you get low on hp just blood burst/barrage them to get some hp back. Or use blood rush to lure and get some hp during them.

 

As for the mitre or farseers helm idk what would be better.
