You don't need to pray with your defense level as it is. Alternatively, I have heard that if you pray and use emerald bolts (e) to poison every aviansie and then finish them off, you earn more money per hour. Aiel
What is a good setup for aviansie's? Armor,Food, Bolts, and should i use pray or go pro defense? thanks in advance!go with neit, acp, zamorak chaps, dfs/obby shield, snakeskin boots, fury, accumulator, rcbow, broad bolts, barrows gloves. definetly tank with bunyips. with 85 defence i found that I didnt even need any food with the welfare version of that setup. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Ulysses
Black salamander also works well in magic mode - you can wear full range tank (e.g. Torag) because the magic accuracy of salamanders is not affected by the armour one wears. An alternative:I have also tried crystal bow, with amulet of ranging, armadyl chest, zamorak chaps, Verac helm, barrows rfd gloves, snakeskin boots and archer's ring - it works fine with high defence. I'd bring along alch runes, bones to peaches tabs, enhanced excalibur, bunyip pouch (es) and summoning potions. 'Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.' T.S. JoeDaStudd
If you want to pray them its pretty simple.Monkrobes and unholy book for you god protection (bandos pool or boots are recommended as its an extra 3/4 spawns) with the rest the best prayer bonus you can get or where its only 1 point slots (ring, gloves and boots) range bonus.Use emerald (e) bolts, a combat familiar and pray range all the time.Once they are half hp and poisoned switch avis. NPC's, your familiar, the poison or someone else will finish the kill, but as you'd done half damage its your drop.Cycle 3 or more all the time, run back and forth every so often to keep them aggressive (makes it a lot easier). You'll get a lot more kills per hour (better gp/hour even with the large number of prayer potions you use), but it tends to annoy people a lot.
