Saradomin Sword

I bought a SS a few months ago for about 10.9M. I was planning to train strength for a while. I now am realizing just train them all on whip. I am currently not playing because of school and won't start playing on a regular basis until sometime in May. I don't know if it is worth it to keep the SS just for waterfiends, etc. The price has been sliding slowly down, down and down. I obviously have no use for money atm. Should I hold on to it? Hoping it will rise back? Sell it now and minimize the losses? Or keep it long term?

Thanks for any help!

Zspear is just as good as the SS anywhere you need crush, plus it's the best stab weapon in the game, bar PvP weapons. If you are going to train strength on controlled, there is NO reason to keep the SS.

Ok. I will sell it and probably buy an Z spear. But from a profit, or lack of loss, point of view. Will SS go up or down in the next 2-3 months?

Thanks for advice so far!

Impossible to tell, but from the look of it the SS isn't just crashing, the graph is showing a small decline meaning if it does come back it'll be very slowly.

I am looking to train strength purely. I figured that str is the best stat to max first. Ive got 85 atk and def and 87 str. Is it worth it to keep my ss over a d scim?

BTW, sorry if this intrudes on your question :P

If you're going to be using it a lot then yes it is, especially when you count the time you save using an SS over a d scim; I guess it would also depend on how much spare cash you have though.

I would go for a fury/zekrer/both first since the SS only adds 5-10k exp per hour, but don't buy a bandos piece since that will drain too much of your cash.

Fury>Zerker because it can be used for other combat styles, but all I can think of right now would be karil's for better mage defence :???: .

Fury>Zerker>SS

But since you have the cash for all 3 I'd buy all 3 of them. SS won't crash so it's an investment that pays itself back when you get 99 Strength. With some luck you can sell yours for 5m like I did with mine when I got my red-green cape  .

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
