February 8, 201016 yr I really like both of the photos, the second one you posted is my favorite. I just have a few questions and comments about it. First I think that the rope/cable should be the center of focus; with the focus being on the "pillar" if you will, it doesn't give the photo much substance. The focus could look better some place other then the center of the frame. Using the rule of thirds you might have been able to make it look more appealing. Also what kind of set up were you using? I.E. Camera, lens, lighting conditions etc. Over all I like both photos and if you succeeded in what you wanted to accomplish and you like it, then it's a great photo.

February 8, 201016 yr I really like the lighting on the picture of the sailboat. I also have a weak side for boats and especially sailboats. Great picture!
February 9, 201016 yr ;O I realllly want to get a K100D, would you say it's worth buying as a first DSLR? As for the photos, I saw the macro one of the beam on the tip.it deviantart gallery, I love it ;3 Resources / My Photos / INSPIRATION BLAWG
February 10, 201016 yr The focus could look better some place other then the center of the frame. Using the rule of thirds you might have been able to make it look more appealing. :thumbsup:Its an implied corner, where there focal point's source is leading off into a corner. There's more substance to the pole near the bottom rather than the top. Loving the photos Planet(Can I call you Planet?) great use of lighting and a grasp of your composure. This is good stuff.
