All charm question.

Ok so i heard from someone that once you get to a certain level, gold charms are pointless. And that eventually green ones become too. So what i'm wondering is what level's these are? and if so should i save ALL my crimson and blue charms till then so i can level easier at higher levels? Because right now i'm using my gold charms to get to level 60. But they are EXTREMELY slow.

I recently got 96, and i used all my charms including the gold and green. They are still good for a little exp if you need them. I'm guessing though that from here to 99 most people only use crims and blues now.

 

I wasn't real concerned about getting a high level, instead i set low ones and when i had the charms i used then. If i was doing it from your level, i would go for 68 first then collect more charms. After that go for 79, 88, then any levels you want to get.

Bunyip is at 68, 79 are the Elemental Titans, 88 is the Unicorn Stallion. All 3 can heal you so i liked them for my slayer tasks.

At 68 you can summon a bunyip, which is extremely useful for slayer and other monster hunting.

I don't think I'll ever find Gold and Green charms useless.

 

Gold charms have the best gp/xp overall, and green pouches actually tend to sell back well, so you don't actually loose much money on them.

I don't use golds unless I'm out of the others with like 25k till a level. I still pick them up if I have space though.

They all add up.

I personally make barkers and fruit bats as barkers are the best exp/gp for golds and fruit bats sell instantly and cost me next to nothing (just left 1k of bananas offer in the GE for a week).

They are pretty much the most underrated charms if you use them right. If you burst you end up with close 2/3 of the exp in golds and greens as you do crimsons which is a lot of exp after a few k of bursts.

Let's say you are 99 summoning. At this point, golds and greens have already maxed, and crimson charms give you the most xp that they ever do.

To make these 5000 pouches, it will cost you 2.83m. However, you can resell the pouches for 1.525m, for a net loss of 1.305m. You gain 435k xp in the two hours it takes to make 5000 pouches.

Time: 2 hours

Cost: 1.305m

 

Should I forget about golds and just get more crimsons? To get the same 435k xp it would take 1000 Steel Titans. With MAXED stats it would take a player five hours to get these 1000 charms from CT waterfiends, roughly breaking even. The player would then have to spend 5.517m on additional supplies, and could sell the pouches for 3.909m, for a net loss of 1.608m. The player would gain 435k xp in about 0.4 hours.

Time: 5.4 hours

Cost: 1.608m

 

Fetching additional crimson charms would take more time and cost more than making gold charms, so gold charms are clearly worth using if you have them.[/hide]

By using your green charms, you must spend an additional 1.215m than if you were to use crimsons, but you would save 4 hours of work. Since even the lowliest of summoners can make 300k an hour, you should definitely use your green charms.[/hide]
