L0rdAki
Hey, I said I wasn't coming back till after I got WGS done. I was wrong. I've 30 QP to go and my next goal after the quest is a Fire Cape. I've done several attempts in the past, pure range, and each one has gotten to Jad. (And failed there.) The strategy I used was hugging the North rock, the Claw/Dragon rock. I can't find the guide I used, and i'd appreciate if anyone familiar with this location could remind me of the safespots that work, the lure spots and max range spots with the Rune Crossbow. In addition, if there's any new strategies that have been uncovered that are better, could someone let me know? On the same note, is there a way to train pray switching for Jad? Are there combinations that work better? (IE Watching only for range, keeping Mage protect on all other times) Thanks for your time. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.

Grimy_Bunyip
you should probably check the guide in the archive of wisdom but for training, the best thing to do is to turn on a fight caves video, then switch prayers on your RS player in reaction to the videodo it at an altar or something like that
Captainkidd
Here is a good guide on the fight caves. http://forum.tip.it/topic/72654-the-fight-caves/ This is a guide for prayer switching for Jad, VERY helpful for everyone, I suggest you check it out. http://forum.tip.it/topic/181159-prayer-switching-guide-for-tztok-jad/ ~ Captainkidd
L0rdAki
Thanks guys! If I can, I'd rather stick to the Claw rock because I'm already familiar with it, but if it's been rendered totally obsolete then I'll take a look at the AOW FC guide. mlskid
Thanks guys! If I can, I'd rather stick to the Claw rock because I'm already familiar with it, but if it's been rendered totally obsolete then I'll take a look at the AOW FC guide. No this is the current technique (i'm almost positive as it was on the guide i looked up) and it is the way that i use to get through all of the waves till jad. I fail and just can't get the hang of it and have failed three times not even getting to jad each time. I used the claw rock but i either made a mistake that was obvious (too close to 360, forgot mage pray didn't kill 90 etc). However I think that this is still a viable method, as for Muggi's guide, you can easily get to the spots to prepare for jad by using the claw rock. good luck on getting the cape! Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]

I've just got to remember to use longrange if I have a 360/90 trapped behind a 180, and look west. Good luck to you too! Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff. For prayer switching, I find it easier to just keep on mage, and switch to range when needed. It is insanely easy to see the range attack. My problem is switching back to mage. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~
