RpgGamer
Okay, so my last mp3 player taht I was completely in love with shattered on me. That'll teach me to keep things in my pocket. Anyway, my glorious Insignia Pilot has been liad to rest and I'm shopping for a new one. I'm not lookin to by an ipod of any kind. IN fact, I've already got 2 good ones pciked out [but I'm COMPLETELY open to sugestions that are not Apple related]. I'm looking for an mp3 player with more more than or equal to 16gb, able to play music and movies, FM radio is a plus, and I'm looking somewhere in the below $160 range. here are the two that I found: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Walkman+16GB*+MP3+Player+-+Black/9443854.p?id=1218105500007&skuId=9443854&st=mp3&cp=1&lp=9http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Video+Walkman+16GB*+MP3+Player+-+Black/9281699.p?id=1218073824551&skuId=9281699&st=mp3&cp=1&lp=14 but the second is $40 dollars more, and seems to be the exact same thing. But I'm not 100% that the first actually plays videos, it might just store them. Which is hella lame. What are your thoughts? [and suggestions?] Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. Johannas
I've never had what you're of buying, however i have one of these babies. Perhaps i can big it up.... http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-Video-Player-Black/dp/B001GCQ3KM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266229838&sr=8-2 It's made by Sandisk, and has kept me going for well over a year now. It's very easy to use and you can use a drag and drop system to put files on there, as opposed to syncing it up and messing with itunes. You may be thinking i can't read properly, since you wanted 16gb+ However there is a microSD on the side, and i upgrade that as and when i need to. I currently have an 8gb card in there. You can get 16gb cards for about $50 i think if you ever needed more. It can play music, videos, photos and FM radio, also it has a voice recorder and does work in a similar way to an ipod. Overall it's small, well built and stylish with expandable memory. At an incredible price. Any questions just message me. I can't recommend it enough!! Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! Hawks
I highly recommend Sansa. The newer Fuze has a microSD slot so you can add up to 32gb of space, plus an FM tuner and 8gb internal. These things are also pretty much indestructible. A friend has one and the screen is cracked but it still works fine. I have another friend with a Clip that's been washed and run over; still works. I have an 8gb (I think) SDHC that was gotten from Amazon for $25, so you can probably find a micro one on sale for $20 or so. I own a Sansa Clip, 4gb, FM tuner, doesn't play videos but is awesome for the price. The new Clip+ has a microSD slot and is $50/$45 on sale. And I don't recommend buying from Best Buy, it's easier and cheaper to buy it from Amazon or Wal-Mart/random big box store. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
Doomster
http://www.sony.co.uk/comparison/nwzs545b.cew/nwzs639fb.ce7 On the site they call the first one a Walkman video as well, the secend one has a smaller screen, and a few extra features such a "SenseMe" mood selection, and a longer battery life in video mode, but $40 more. Now if you want to play movies on it....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855501019Original price $279.99 , now $139.99Big screen, 30GB capacity, and WifiNot really a pocket player though!
