I did not inflate anything. You simply forgot to include ranging level.

 

You mean to tell me that 118 range bonus with a range level of 120 doubles the accuracy to 238, while at the same time 193 range bonus with a range level of 120 only increases it by 62%

I'm not sure that's how you calculate it, but alright.

Can I just say, how do you know for sure that this the way that Defence/Defence Bonuses/Ranged Level/Ranged Bonus are all factored into determing damage.

 

As far as I'm aware Jagex haven't released any formula showing how damage is determined and you guys are spending half of thread, arguing mathematics when frankly neither of you have a clue. :thumbsup:

The "rolling" calculations are based on the question regarding 1000 chickens vs. Jad or something to that effect. Jagex revealed that this was in fact how accuracy is calculated.

 

Then my hats off to you, blade. Sorry I harassed you, and thanks for showing me how I'll range my tasks. ;)
