Zaaps1
I started experiencing this today, although I might've had it for a while. I know this happens in crowded areas like the GE, but it's been occuring more often. Let me explain. Whenever I log in, for the first 3-10 seconds, any players next to me are invisible. They're literally not there, as right-clicking/hovering shows that that square is empty. However, if they were in combat I can see their damage splats (both theirs and the monsters) and I can see any familiars. It's occured everywhere today, at Tormented Demons, GWD, Edgeville Bank, even deep in the Chaos Tunnels. Is this a serious problem, or should I not be worried? Also, does anyone else have a similar problem? ~It's Super Effective! Sy_Accursed
Just lag. Players have to be boucned from their pc to the server onto to ur pc.So if you get lag enuff to delay them being render, but not enough to slow the game this happens Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Ermy
I get the exact same thing! Familiars/pets come up first then after a few seconds people start to pop in. My guess is Jagex fiddled with something. Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
Sy_Accursed
I'm going to post again cause I think I can word it better. If you broke down the loading process of the world:First would be the world itself, static objects loaded direct from the cache on your computer. Unless you're CPU is in overdrive or you have insane lag this shouldn't be too big of a deal.Second would be the standard, but moving and changing objects. This means familiars, monsters etc. They are something loaded from cache but server has to tell you what's where as (with famialrs especially) they could be anywhere.Third would be players which are completely variable and the server has to get the data of what they are wearing and what they are doing from each player before it can send it your screen.. So if you have a tiny hint of lag, not enough to notice but there none the less you can get invisible players as it takes a moment for the player data to be received and rendered properly. The reason you don't get them when you have bad everything goes slow lag, is because your pc has a ton of time to render them as its getting data so slowly.
