What would be the fastest way to train smithing?

 

Assuming you don't have sc hammers.

Cost no object.

Addy platebodies all the way to 99, the fastest way is always making the highest level platebody that you can.

adamant platebody no SC hammers -> 250k smithing xp/hour

if you're interested in magic xp then:

superheat gold ores -> 105k smithing xp/hour + magic xp

9 gp/xp

 

or if you're interested in mining xp then:

simultaneous mining of concentrated gold ore + superheating: (this is less clicking than you would imagine)

50k mining, 43k smithing, 38k magic xp/hour

Platebodies are always the fastest option, and so long as you are making platebodies, you might as well use SC hammers since they increase your speed AND decrease cost.

I like smithing gold ores with gauntlets on. Not too expensive, but not too fast either. :D
